CORRUPTION: Make the Country Bad

Corruption is one of big problems in this world, even in Indonesia. Corruption itself is derived from corruptio that the meaning can be badness, bribery, distortion and destabilizing. People must know that corruption belongs to action against the rule and law. This action can also be a misuse of authority and opportunity because a person who does this action has self-interest to make herself or himself richer.

People must also know that there are some kinds of corruption like accepting bribery, seizing authority and so many others. To prevent is better than to cure, so it will be better if people know about the cause of corruption in order that they can avoid corruption and solve the corruption problem. There are some causes causing corruption such as there is no transparency in government financial, great and expensive political campaign, and great projects needing much money. 

The weak of law, unbalance salary of civil clerk and the lack of mass media freedom can also become causes of the corruption. People must know that not only government factor that can cause corruption but also people habit and lifestyle. It is better that people must realize that hedonism is bad habit that can cause corruption and it can also be a bad moral because it can consume all things too much. So, that the reason why hedonism can also cause the corruption.

Corruption itself has so many bad effects like market failure, increasing poverty, decreasing investment value, decreasing budget of education and health programs, decreasing foreign direct investment and so on. Thus, if the government of a country is still doing corruption, it will be believed that the country will be bankrupt and become an under developing country.    

     But, do not worry about the solution of the problem, people and government can solve corruption to create good country with good quality. So the first thing that the government should do is stricken the law. Government must support the strict of the law and begin being a good figure of example to other people. Do not forget about the faith, a good faith can make people good and wise. Government should also make good salary system and transparency of the financial.
